About the lodge

A True Nature Lover's Paradise, Morgan's Jungle Lodge

The locals know it as Guanabana because of the numerous Guanabana fruit trees on the property. Morgan's Jungle Lodge overlooks the Golfo Dolce, the Sweet Gulf, named for the numerous fresh water rivers flowing into the bay.

The lodge has 2 guest bedrooms, a great room, reading room, kitchen, laundry, and bath area. Our great room is where we all congregate for meals, conversation, games and lounging. Immediately off the great room is the lanai patio with a small in-ground pool. The patio is a great place to watch the monkeys, exotic birds and other wildlife that frequent our property. There is a small reading room with many books that guests have brought, read and left for others to enjoy. We have a fully equipped kitchen, refrigeration, and propane stoves for our cooking needs.

On the way to beach there are six cabinas, which are clean-secure platform tents. The three smaller cabinas have two twin beds, a nightstand and shelves for clothing. The three larger cabinas have a queen size bed, couch, nightstand and shelves for clothing. The cabinas as well as the bedrooms in the lodge share hot and cold running showers and toilets located in the lodge.

Morgan's Jungle Lodge, while very comfortable, reflects the simplistic, rustic nature of the area. Creature comforts like electric are limited. But once on the Osa, you will realize that many of the creature comforts you left behind are not needed. Our guests soon grow to appreciate the simplicity of our tropical rain forest hideaway.  We can comfortably accommodate 16 guests, double occupancy.
